Statement of Faith
We believe in the Holy Scriptures, the Old Testament and New Testament, as the Word of God and the only perfect rule for faith, doctrine, and conduct.
We believe in One God, Creator and Sustainer of all things, who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God, His gift to the world and guide for His people in faith and practice.
We believe in God’s unconditional love as expressed in Jesus Christ, and that He is the Living Word, the promised Messiah, and the eternal Son of the Father, who became flesh through His miraculous virgin birth, died on the cross, rose to sit at the Father’s right hand, and is returning some day.
We believe, being separated from God and condemned by our sinfulness, our salvation is wholly dependent upon the work of God’s free grace. God credits His righteousness to those who put their faith in Christ alone for their salvation. Only those born of the Holy Spirit, who have received Jesus Christ become children of God and heirs of eternal life.
We believe, the Holy Spirit has come to glorify Christ and to apply His saving work to our lives. He convicts us of sin and draws us to the Savior. Coming to live in our hearts, He gives us gifts for service. He instructs us and guides us into all truth, and empowers us for ministry in the church and the world.
We believe we are called to make disciples of all nations, proclaiming the Gospel to the spiritually lost and equipping believers so they may be mature in Christ. The Lord calls all believers to be ministers and witnesses to God’s amazing grace and to readily participate in the task of making disciples, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
We believe it is our responsibility to develop, equip, and release people into their God-given ministries in the church and the world.
