Worship
Worship is an intentional practice at Bridge to Grace as we grow together in Christ’s likeness.
As a community, we worship together on Sunday mornings, seeking to hear and connect with God through word and song. Our Sunday morning service is centered around God’s word. We read scripture together and sing songs that are biblically based. Throughout our worship service we sit, stand, greet each other, sing, pray aloud, and step forward to receive communion. We do not see our time of worship as sentiment, but rather as a way of actively remembering who God is, what he has done, and what he is doing in our lives even today.
We also encourage each other in the daily practices of personal worship such as prayer, study, meditation, and celebration. These practices open us up to the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
It is our hope that everyone who finds Bridge to Grace a faith “home” will actively participate in both community and personal practices of worship.
